I have Diastasis Recti (Ab Separation). Can I use this?

Not yet. If you have significant separation or "doming," the NuviaFlow is likely too advanced for your core right now. We recommend starting with our Phase 1 NuviaStretch routine to gently reconnect your muscles. Once you have received the "all clear" from your GP or Midwife to begin resistance training, NuviaFlow is the perfect "Phase 2" tool to safely build strength without strain.

I’ve had a C-section. When can I start?

Please be patient with your body. While general exercise is often cleared at 6 weeks, ab rollouts are advanced. Most C-section mums wait 3–6 months before their internal scar tissue is ready. Always check with your GP specifically regarding "abdominal resistance" before starting. Once cleared, NuviaFlow is ideal because the elbow supports prevent the deep "crunching" motion that irritates incision scars.

I have pelvic girdle pain (PGP/SPD). Is this suitable?

No, you should not use the Phase 2. Phase 1 can be used depending if your doctor / midwife has cleared this.

My wrists and joints are sore. Will this hurt?

Not at all! This is one of our biggest safety differences. Postpartum hormones (Relaxin) can make wrists weak and painful for months.
